Anthony:

I don't know how to begin to thank you for this. WIth all this work we will be doing with cluster computing and high-speed computing, it will be essential. Thank you for your continued support.

I will fill out the necessary information and bring it to you when I am on campus tomorrow.

I deeply thank you again,

Anthony,
The workshop went very smoothly. We had no issues with the set-up or with access to all the programs needed for the workshop. We did not load DjVu, as the time did not allow exploration of this zoom compression.

The response was enthusiastic and the satisfaction with the room was great.

Again, thank you very much for giving up some of your Saturday morning to accommodate us. Your gracious assistance was very appreciated and noted by all who attended.

Sincerely,
Helen Wykle

Anthony,
Just want to say thanks for the Macs you got for our computer lounge. I have already heard some Mac users saying good things about having them here. I also want to thank you for the wireless internet that is on its way.
Thanks again for all of your help in making the Union a more technologically advanced building.

Anthony and Robin: You guys are amazing. This is exactly what we needed. Mark discovered last night that the Board had scheduled a Banner update so we knew we had to scramble to get ready. But the two of you turned a potential sow's ear into a silk purse. My reconstructed summary is attached.

Thanks, as always, for your help.

Gentlemen,

Super Thanks.

I have ODBC from my home in North Asheville again!!!!

Mark installed some service pack for the SQL Server Thursday afternoon that has cured the problem. I just checked this evening around 6 pm. All is well.

I appreciate all your help and detective work on this over the past few days.

And since Ivan is coming, we decided to delay the astronomy exam a week - so now I can get to work on making the exam with plenty of time to spare.

Thanks again.

Dear Anthony,

Just want to thank you again for your help in finding a computer lab/classroom location for Helen Wykle's workshop on the use of digital archives and images last Saturday. Helen was impressed by the quality and functioning of the room. More impressive, however, was your stopping by to ensure that everything was ok. Both Helen and I are extremely appreciative of your effort.

Again, thank you. You helped mightily in making a most favorable impression on some of the area's Master Teachers.

Thanks Anthony for your excellent responses to my questions. You and Robin were super at the meeting when Chuck Bennett and I met with you. From what you told us there, it appears that the original document is even okay with me.

I appreciate your rewording of a few places.

Tony:

I just wanted to drop you a line and say thank you again for supporting my request to become a member of the Apple Developer connection (ADC). Since all of our research code is open source, and we do all of the compiling in the lab, it is incredibly crucial that we keep up with the latest seeds of OS releases so we don't end up with a piece of code and no path to upgrade the OS.

Nonetheless, many thanks again. As apart of the ADC, Apple sends out these seed notices, and without them we'd be doomed.

Best,
