Gentlemen:
Thanks for your excellent work, as usual, on the live broadcast last night.
Bob and Brian did an excellent job on production. Wes screened callers like
a pro working for Rush Limbaugh and kept me fully up on who was holding. Foolishly,
I am thinking we may do this again!
Perhaps we could do one with President Hanes; maybe one with the presidents of
GSW and SGTC and the superintendent and the Southland headmaster after the Rylander
meeting on the 8th; maybe one with our Admissions Staff and Academic Affairs. Just thinking!
I appreciate your outstanding help as always.

Greetings --
I just wanted to send this brief note to express appreciation for the assistance
that you (personally) and your staff provided during my first week as Dean at GSW.
Settling in a new region, and new community and a new campus environment is surely not an
easy process: such a spirit of collaboration goes a long way toward facilitating that progress.
No doubt we will be calling on you for additional support in the days ahead
(until our offices are at least in final order). Again, my thanks for your
willingness to work with us.
Best,
Dr. Richard-Laurent (Etienne) Barnett

The Spring 2003 evaluations are ready for administrators and faculty.
There is a new pull-down menu option that also allows viewing of Fall 2002
evaluations, if desired. Spring 2003 data will appear by default. If you have questions
or issues, please contact: Royce Hacket

Examples of projects that might be highlighted include the National Cash Register grant,
video production in the Art department, Distinguished Professor Grants, Milestones in Georgia
History, and the new telescope. If you have any suggestions or would like your project to be
showcased please contact Svetlana Peltsverger - 2792 or . We will develop
the web pages which can include text, graphics, and video. Thanks in advance for your

Dr. Ianno,
I just want to thank you again for coming to our rescue yesterday and getting the lab ready
for our Outlook class. I spoke with the instructor and everything went off without a hitch.
The participants said they could have used a little more time, but that's not your problem.
Again, many thanks.

You have been approved for the purchase of Allegro CL version 6.2 Enterprise Edition
Site License at the provided quote of $6000. The order will be placed today using
technology fee funds. This site license includes one year of free upgrades and tech support.
If you desire tech fee funds to cover maintenance after this year you may make a request at
that time (probably spring 2005) for continued support of this software (using the attached
form).
Thank you,

Anthony, the Southwest Georgia Writing Project will be hosting a workshop on technology

(Don't worry, I'm part of the audience, not the presenter). Our presenter, Cathy Bell, serves
as the technical liaison for the Writing Project. We need to know if Yahoo Instant Messaging
is installed on the computers. If not, can we load Instant Messager on the machine for the
workshop and then delete it after the workshop or are we prohibited from loading any software
on the machines?

Hey,
Just to let you know - best university site ever. University sites I look at are always a
disaster and badly organized, not yours. Good job.
I might suggest faculty email addresses by department - maybe this is already here,
that is, in addition to the search page. Just a suggestion.
